Day 6 of 30 Free Ads: How I Made a $2M Lexus Movie at Home
What this guide is
This is the full recipe for a movie-style ad I made for the Lexus RX 350. No camera. No film crew. No agency. Just a laptop, ChatGPT, and a video tool called Seedance 2.0.
If you can copy and paste, you can build this. I am going to show you exactly what I typed, in what order, and what each piece does.
The Big Idea (in 5 baby sentences)
A music man drives his Lexus into the mountains.
He goes alone, before the sun is up.
He uses the inside of his car to make a song.
The song you hear in the ad is the same song he just made inside the car.
At the end the words say: "Composed inside the Lexus RX 350."
That is it. That is the whole story.
Why this is a $2M kind of idea
Most car ads show the car driving fast. Or a happy family. Or a pretty city at night.
This one does none of that. It shows a quiet man making art inside the car. The car becomes his studio.
No other car brand has ever said "buy this car because it is the room where you create." That is the new white space. That is what makes it feel like a $2M ad even though it cost me $0.
The Main Character — Adékúnlé
Pretend you are drawing a comic book. You need to draw the same person on every page. If you forget what he looks like, the comic stops making sense.
So we lock him in. One face. One outfit. One wristwatch. One ring. Every time.
Here is what he looks like:
!Adékúnlé inside the Lexus at dawn, eyes closed, whispering Bismillah
His full description (we paste this in EVERY shot prompt):> Black man in his early fifties, mid-length salt-and-pepper locks tied back at the nape, trimmed grey beard, deep brown weathered skin, dark slow-blinking eyes, lean 6'1" build, wearing a charcoal Loro Piana cashmere turtleneck, dark indigo selvedge jeans, gold Patek Philippe Calatrava on left wrist, gold signet ring on right pinky.
Why every shot? Because the AI is like a goldfish. If you do not remind it, it will give him a different shirt, a different ring, a different face. We do not let it forget.
The Real Car — Three Real Photos
Same rule as the character. We do not let the AI guess what a Lexus looks like. We show it the real photos.
I downloaded these three from the official Lexus website:
Front view:!2026 Lexus RX 350 F Sport front view
Side view:!2026 Lexus RX 350 F Sport side view
Inside view (the cabin):!2026 Lexus RX 350 F Sport interior cabin
The car description we paste in EVERY shot:> A pearl-white 2026 Lexus RX 350 F Sport. Distinctive Lexus spindle grille in gloss black mesh with chrome L emblem, full LED headlights with daytime running lights, gloss black accents, chrome side mirror caps, 21-inch gloss black wheels. Interior: black perforated leather seats with cream-white contrast bolsters, black dashboard with horizontal cream-stitched accent strip, three-spoke leather steering wheel with Lexus L emblem, ambient amber instrument cluster glow.
The 11 Pieces of the Movie
The whole ad is 75 seconds long, plus a 3-second outro at the end. That makes 78 seconds total.
I broke it into 11 little pieces, like 11 LEGO blocks. Each block is a different scene. Each block gets its own picture (from ChatGPT) and its own short video (from Seedance).
Here is the order:
- Piece 1: A black screen with a man breathing (3 seconds)
- Piece 2: A hand picking up a brass key (5 seconds)
- Piece 3: The man at his apartment window (6 seconds)
- Piece 4: He walks to his Lexus in a dark garage (8 seconds)
- Piece 5: He drives on an empty mountain highway (12 seconds)
- Piece 6: Aerial view of the car arriving at a mountain viewpoint (8 seconds)
- Piece 7: He clips a microphone in the car and whispers "Bismillah" (10 seconds)
- Piece 8: A Swiss woman hands him a key at a chalet door (3 seconds)
- Piece 9: He plays a piano on a small keyboard and says "Take one" (10 seconds)
- Piece 10: Aerial view zooming out from the car, Matterhorn glowing (7 seconds)
- Piece 11: Black screen with the title (3 seconds)
- Outro: The Genflow AI logo (3 seconds)
Piece 2 — The Brass Key
This is the very first thing we see after the black screen.
!Hand reaching for a brass Lexus key on black marble
ChatGPT prompt to make the picture (paste this, upload the Adékúnlé reference photo):> Photograph, extreme macro close-up. A single brass car key (Lexus emblem visible but soft-focused) resting on a polished black Calacatta marble countertop. A weathered Black man's hand (deep brown skin, gold signet ring on pinky, charcoal cashmere sleeve cuff visible) enters the frame from the right edge, fingers about to lift the key. Pre-dawn blue light from an unseen window on the left. Single warm brass lamp glow from upper right creates a soft highlight on the key. Shallow depth of field, f/1.4, 100mm macro lens. Cinematic color grade, deep blacks, warm brass highlight. 16:9 aspect ratio. Ultra-realistic, editorial quality, shot on ARRI Alexa 65.
Seedance prompt to make it a 5-second video:> [Paste the full character description from earlier]. His right hand enters frame from the right edge in extreme macro close-up and slowly lifts a single brass Lexus key from a polished black Calacatta marble countertop. The key glints once as it leaves the surface. Pre-dawn cool blue ambient light from a window on the left, warm brass desk lamp from upper right creating a single highlight. Inside a minimalist Geneva apartment, walnut floors faintly visible in background bokeh. Locked-off macro shot, 100mm lens, f/1.4 shallow depth of field, no camera movement, 24fps. Audio: one soft inhaled breath, faint rain hitting a window in the distance. Cinematic color grade, deep blacks, warm brass highlight, anamorphic 35mm film grain, shot on ARRI Alexa 65, 16:9 aspect ratio, duration: 5 seconds.
Piece 7 — The Whisper Inside the Car
This is the heart of the whole movie. He whispers one word. Bismillah. It means "in the name of God." Many Muslims say it before they start something important.
The video clip looks like this:
ChatGPT prompt (upload Adékúnlé reference + Lexus interior reference):> Generate one cinematic still photograph in 9:16 vertical aspect ratio. Tight medium close-up of a Black man in his early fifties matching the reference image: mid-length salt-and-pepper locks tied back, trimmed grey beard, deep brown skin. He wears a charcoal cashmere turtleneck. Framing from chest-up only. His face fills the middle 50% of the frame, head tilted slightly upward, eyes gently closed, lips parted as if mid-whisper. At the top 30% of the frame, the rear-view mirror is clearly visible with a single matte black Neumann KM 184 condenser microphone clipped to its underside. Through an open window on the right side of the frame: alpine mountain landscape, golden pink-orange dawn light, distant snow-capped peaks. No glass visible. No steering wheel. No dashboard. No hands visible. Warm golden dawn light from the right, cool blue shadow on the left, ambient amber glow softly lighting his face from below. Anamorphic 35mm film grain, editorial cinematic color grade, shot on ARRI Alexa 65, 50mm lens, f/1.8 shallow depth of field. 9:16 vertical aspect ratio.
Seedance prompt — 9:16 vertical — 10 seconds:> Tight medium close-up vertical 9:16 framing of [paste full character description]. He is seated inside the cabin of a luxury car at an alpine viewpoint at dawn. Only his head, neck, and upper chest are visible. At the top of the frame, a rear-view mirror is visible with a matte black Neumann KM 184 microphone clipped to its underside, pointing toward an open window on the right side of the frame. Through the open window opening, alpine mountain dawn light glows pink-orange. No steering wheel, no dashboard, no hands visible anywhere in the frame.
>
> Action across 10 seconds: from 0 to 3 seconds, he sits still, eyes open, breathing slowly. Loose strands of his hair stir faintly in the cold air. From 3 to 6 seconds, he tilts his face up slowly toward the microphone above him and closes his eyes. From 6 to 8 seconds, he whispers, almost inaudibly, in a deep Nigerian-Swiss accent with Lagos origin and Geneva polish, low register, soft consonants, slow cadence: "Bismillah." From 8 to 10 seconds, he holds the silence, eyes still closed.
>
> Vertical handheld camera with very subtle micro-movement. 50mm lens, f/1.8 shallow depth of field, sharp focus on his face throughout. Warm golden dawn light from the right side, cool shadow on the left, ambient amber glow softly lighting his face from below.
>
> Audio: cold alpine wind through the open window for the entire 10 seconds, faint birdsong, his slow steady breathing, the whispered word "Bismillah" at low volume in deep Nigerian-Swiss accent at second 6, then silence holding to the final frame. No music.
>
> Anamorphic 35mm film grain, cinematic color grade, shot on ARRI Alexa 65, 24fps, 9:16 vertical aspect ratio, duration: 10 seconds.
Piece 9 — The Composer Plays His Song
He sits in the driver seat. There is a tiny piano keyboard in his lap. He plays four notes. Then he leans toward the microphone and says: "Take one. Three forty-seven a.m."
Those words tell us he just started recording.
Seedance prompt — 9:16 vertical — 10 seconds:> [Paste full character description]. He sits in the driver's seat of [paste full vehicle description] parked at an alpine viewpoint at dawn. A compact Native Instruments M32 MIDI keyboard controller rests on his lap, connected via USB to a small black audio interface on the passenger seat. A Neumann KM 184 condenser microphone clipped to the rear-view mirror, pointed toward the open driver's window. Both front windows fully lowered. Through the windshield at the top of frame, the Matterhorn is visible in the distance, glowing pink-orange in first light. He plays a single 4-note piano phrase with his right hand — slow, deliberate, A minor. He pauses for 2 seconds. He plays it again, slightly different intonation. A barely perceptible smile crosses his face. He leans forward toward the Neumann microphone and speaks quietly, in a deep Nigerian-Swiss accent with Lagos origin and Geneva polish, low register, slow cadence, soft consonants: "Take one. Three forty-seven a.m." Vertical composition: camera mounted high on the passenger seat looking down and forward, MIDI controller dominating the lower third of frame with both hands visible, his lap and torso in mid-frame, his face and the microphone in the upper third, the Matterhorn just visible through the windshield at the very top. 35mm lens, f/2.8. Ambient amber instrument glow on his face balanced with cool dawn exterior light. Audio: the 4-note piano phrase plays live in sync with his finger movements as a rich Steinway-style sample, brief silence, the phrase repeats slightly varied, then his low spoken voice "Take one. Three forty-seven a.m." in deep Nigerian-Swiss accent at conversational volume, underneath a faint alpine wind. Anamorphic 35mm film grain, cinematic color grade warm interior cool exterior, shot on ARRI Alexa 65, 24fps, 9:16 vertical aspect ratio, duration: 10 seconds.
Piece 10 — The Big Mountain Reveal
This is the money shot. The drone pulls up and up, the Matterhorn glows orange, the car is a tiny pearl-white dot at the bottom. The music swells.
Seedance prompt — 9:16 vertical — 7 seconds:> A pearl-white 2026 Lexus RX 350 F Sport with distinctive Lexus spindle grille and gloss black 21-inch wheels, parked alone on a wet stone alpine viewpoint near Zermatt, Switzerland at dawn. Aerial drone shot in vertical orientation. The Matterhorn dominates the upper 60% of the vertical frame, fully glowing orange-pink in first sunrise light, snow ridges glowing with detail, granite faces in cool blue shadow. Alpine pine forest fills the middle 25% of the frame. The Lexus sits small and centered in the bottom 15% of the frame on the wet stone scenic overlook, a glowing pearl-white dot in an immense landscape. Empty winding alpine highway visible briefly in the lower corner. The drone begins at 200ft altitude directly above the car and rises smoothly to 600ft over 7 seconds, the camera tilting upward as it rises so the Matterhorn fills more and more of the frame while the car remains small and central at the bottom. No cuts, no other vehicles, no other movement. Audio: a full orchestral score swells across the 7 seconds — a 4-note A-minor piano phrase, now layered with slow cellos, a single violin solo entering at 3 seconds, building emotionally toward a climactic resolution at 6 seconds. Natural dawn lighting, warm amber highlights and teal shadows, anamorphic 35mm film grain, shot on RED Komodo via DJI Inspire 3 drone in vertical mount, 24fps, 9:16 vertical aspect ratio, duration: 7 seconds.
Piece 11 — The Title Card
Pure black screen. Three lines of beautiful white serif type appear.
Seedance prompt — 9:16 vertical — 3 seconds:> Pure black background filling the entire frame. Vertical typography composition. Centered horizontally and vertically, three lines of elegant white serif text stacked vertically with generous line spacing: Line 1 larger: "Composed inside the" / Line 2 larger: "Lexus RX 350." / Line 3 smaller with extra top spacing: "Music by Adékúnlé Bamigboye." Beneath all text, at the lower-third anchor point, a small white Lexus L emblem. Typography set in classic Caslon or similar editorial serif, pure white, sharp anti-aliased edges. The first two lines fade in slowly over 1 second from black. Held still for 1 second. The third line and the Lexus L emblem fade in over the final 1 second. Camera locked-off, no movement. Audio: the orchestral score from the previous shot sustains across all 3 seconds, slowly fading and resolving to a single sustained piano note that ends on the final frame. 9:16 vertical aspect ratio, duration: 3 seconds.
The Outro — Crediting the Studio
A 3-second outro that says I made this with Genflow AI and the latest GPT Image model.
!Outro frame with Genflow AI logo
The Genflow AI logo is three colored ribbons twisting together like a fluid knot with a small white sparkle in the corner:
Seedance prompt for the outro — 9:16 vertical — 3 seconds:> Pure black background filling the entire vertical 9:16 frame. Minimalist cinematic outro composition stacked vertically from top to bottom. In the upper third of the frame, centered: the Genflow AI logo — three intertwined flowing brushstroke ribbons forming a fluid knot. The largest ribbon flows from bottom-left to top-right in a gradient from cyan to electric blue. A second ribbon weaves through in a gradient from hot magenta to electric purple. A thinner third ribbon threads over both in a gradient from amber to crimson rose. The ribbons cross with a multiply blend creating richer darker pixels at intersections. Each ribbon has a glossy translucent white highlight. A pure white 4-pointed sparkle sits in the upper-right corner of the logo. In the middle of the frame, centered: the wordmark "GENFLOW AI" in elegant clean sans-serif typography, pure white, generous letter-spacing. In the lower third, centered, two smaller lines in refined thin sans-serif at 70% opacity: "Shot at genflowai.io" and "Images by GPT Image 2". Animation: at second 0, the three ribbons flow with subtle liquid micro-motion. At second 1.5, the white sparkle pulses once with a soft expanding glow. The wordmark and credit lines remain still. Audio: the orchestral score sustains and fades to silence. 9:16 vertical aspect ratio, duration: 3 seconds.
The Words That Show On Screen (the narration)
There is no voice talking in this ad. Instead, words appear on screen at key moments. These are his thoughts.
Drop these as text on screen at the timestamps below:
- At 0:03 → Most of my life, I've measured time in keys.
- At 0:14 → This one takes me where the music waits.
- At 0:24 → Out here, the world hasn't heard a sound yet.
- At 0:30 → That is the room I write in.
- At 1:05 → They will ask where it came from.
- At 1:09 → I'll tell them: nowhere a person could go alone.
- At 1:13 → Until now.
- Elegant serif font (Caslon, Cormorant Garamond, Playfair Display)
- White text, 90% opacity, no box, no shadow
- Lower-third placement, centered horizontally
- Fade in 0.4s, hold, fade out 0.4s
- Never two lines on screen at once
The Workflow — How To Build This From Zero
Like baking a cake. Step by step. Skip a step and the cake breaks.
Step 1 — Lock the main character (1 hour)- Open ChatGPT (the newest GPT Image model)
- Generate 4 reference portraits of Adékúnlé: front 3/4, side profile, hands close-up, full body standing
- Use the first portrait as the image input for the other three, so the face stays identical
- Save all 4 files
- Download 3 real photos of the 2026 Lexus RX 350 F Sport from lexus.com or Pexels: front, side, interior
- Save them with clean filenames
- For each of the 11 shots, upload the relevant references (character + car) and paste the ChatGPT prompt
- Save each output as the keyframe for that shot
- Go to higgsfield.ai or genflowai.io and pick Seedance 2.0
- Upload the keyframe as the reference image
- Paste the Seedance prompt
- Set output to 9:16 vertical, 24fps, the exact duration for that shot
- Generate 2 or 3 takes per shot, pick the best one
- The 4-note A minor piano phrase you hear is composed separately in Logic Pro, Ableton, or GarageBand
- Layer with orchestral strings (Spitfire Symphonic Strings or any string library)
- Or use Suno AI to generate the score from a text prompt
- Use DaVinci Resolve (free) or CapCut
- Drop each shot in order on the timeline
- Layer the audio: narration text on screen, dialogue, ambient, score
- Color grade pass to unify all the shots
- Export at 1080x1920 (vertical) or 1920x1080 (horizontal) — depending on platform
The Caption to Post With This Video
Use this exact caption when you upload it. Strong hook, no hashtags:
> Lexus didn't ask for this. I made it anyway.
>
> Day 5 of making 30 free ads for my favorite brands.
What I Learned Making This
- AI hand placement near glass keeps failing. Fix by removing the glass entirely from the frame.
- AI cannot reliably render brand-specific car details like steering wheels. Fix by cropping them out of the frame.
- The hardest part of a $2M-feel ad is NOT the technology. It is the courage to remove every visual cliché from the script. No driving shots. No family. No glamour. Just one human, one car, one quiet moment.
- The reveal at the end (the score was composed inside the car) only works if you withhold it until the last 10 seconds. Reveal it too early and the audience stops listening.
The Pieces I Could Not Show in the Public Version
The full 75-second ad with all 11 shots stitched together, the orchestral score, the color graded master, and the 30-second and 15-second cutdowns are reserved for clients who DM me directly.
